Users are taken from a desert festival, to a neon underwater stage, an abstract space area, and a colorful fantasy land.
It took a lot of testing to achieve a dynamic ride where first time users don't experience motion sickness.
The first half of the concert is static, the second half moves at a maximum 5kmph (similar to an airport treadmill)

This was one of the biggest challenges.
You can't have a concert without spotlights, beam lights, LED walls, fireworks and fog, although real time lighting can be very expensive in VR.
I was able to "fake" most of the lighting using particle systems and emissive materials, keeping the lighting realistic while staying below the VRChat map limit.

The exciting thing about a digital concert is that anything can happen!
From dancing puppets to a blue whale jumping across the stage, all characters are queued in a main timeline and hold their individual animations.
